Info attached re upcoming Leinster Branch AGM in Baldoyle  on Sunday 13^th May 2012 @ 3pm.

Club will be CLOSED for one night on WEDNESDAY 23rd MAY
(Due to the hall being used by the school)

Club AGM will be held on WEDNESDAY 30th MAY in the club at 9pm. Tea/Coffee & Refreshments will be served upstairs. We will be open at 8pm as normal that day but play will stop for the meeting and subject to how long the AGM takes play can recommence after meeting.  Please let Diarmuid or Derek know (in writing) if there are any motions or issues you wish to raise in advance so we can put them on the agenda

We will be open bank holiday Monday 4th June starting at 7.30 for any kids who want to come along.

PBAI Badminton Club are running a Spring Tournament in Baldoyle on Saturday 5th May.  They ran a successful Tournament last Season and this will be another great event with guaranteed set of Round Robin Games.  The Events included – Mens Doubles, Ladies Doubles and Mixed Doubles.  There are 3 Categories: A – Divisions 3 to 5 / B – Divisions 6 to 7 and C – Divisions 8 to 9.  Attached is a Promotional Poster and Entry Form.  Completed forms or email entries can be send to PBAI email address : pinoybai@yahoo.ie or just text Raniel @ 087 9197227 or Reynasyl @ 0871510457.  Hope you can support PBAI in this event

Hard luck to the L1 and M2 teams who lost their final matches.  Great achievement making it that far.  So well done to L1 (CarmelG, Annette, Evelyn, Aimee and sub: Mary) and M2 (David, Pearse, Bob and Willie).

All Finals are taking place in Baldoyle – please be sure to inform your teams the time of their matches and to check in 30 minutes beforehand so we can start on time.

Teams provide their own shuttles for the Finals.

Proper Badminton sport attire to be worn and no track suits to be worn when playing matches.

If team Captains can email in their team order of play to leaguesandcups@lbbui.ie in advance  – this helps to speed up the process of checking in.

This year there are several positions up for renewal on the Leinster Branch Council, click position title for nomination form:

• President x 1
• Vice –Presidents x 2/3
• Honorary Treasurer x 1
• Executive Members x 5

I am attaching nomination forms so if you could circulate to your club members we would greatly appreciate it. Nomination forms should reach Terenure Badminton Centre, Whitehall Road, Terenure, Dublin 12 no later than next Friday 20th April 2012

I have also attached a copy of the rules of Leinster Branch which explains the roles of each of the Council members above.
